Making Proud Pet Parents
Puppies 8 wks-6 mos.
Bringing home, a puppy is an exciting time for every Puppy Parent. Pure joy. Suddenly that bundle of joy is peeing on the carpet, biting at hands, chewing who knows what, and jumping on everyone! No easy button from puppy troubles to puppy snuggles.
Fun Training and Socialization
We specialize in training your puppy what to do instead of what not to do. This way the puppy learns what is expected of them and will learn to carry this information with them as they age. Primary focus for Puppy Kindergarten is on Socialization, or exposing your puppy to new things. Just because you go to the Dentist fifty times doesn’t mean you enjoy going to the dentist, right? We will teach you how to introduce your puppy to new things in a fun and positive manner to give your pup the best chance for success as a well-mannered dog.

Puppy Kindergarten FAQ
Why is socialization important?
BEHAVIOR RELATED ISSUES ARE THE NUMBER ONE REASON DOGS ARE SURRENDERED TO AN ANIMAL SHELTER. MANY OF THESE BEHAVIORS COME FROM PUPPIES THAT ARE NOT TRAINED OR SOCIALIZED. JUST LIKE PEOPLE DO, PUPPIES GO THROUGH DIFFERENT GROWTH STAGES. PUPPY KINDERGARTEN IS DESIGNED FOR PUPPIES DURING A STAGE OF THEIR LIFE WHERE THEY ARE MOST ACCEPTING TO NEW THINGS. BY INTRODUCING YOUR PUPPY TO MANY DIFFERENT NOISES AND EXPERIENCES, ALONG WITH LEARNING THE SKILLS FOR TEACHING GOOD FOUNDATION TRAINING, YOU ARE HELPING YOUR PUP START OFF ON THE RIGHT PAW, TO GROW INTO A WELL-ADJUSTED DOG.
Does socialization guarantee no behavior problems as an adult dog?
SORRY NO. THERE IS NO GUARANTEE WHEN IT COMES TO OUR DOG’S BEHAVIOR. GENETICS OR TRAMATIC EXPERIENCES CAN PLAY A PART WITH WHAT AFFECTS YOUR DOGS OVERALL DEMENOR. HOWEVER, BY PROVIDING YOUR DOG WITH SAFE AND FUN SOCIALIZATION, YOU ARE ULTIMATLEY GIVING YOUR PUP HIS/HER BEST CHANCE FOR REACHING THEIR FULL POTENTIAL AND BECOMING YOUR LIFELONG COMPANION.
What do I bring to class?
